Bob blew out his candles. If we lived in Santa Barbara, I'd think all 73 of his candles got away from him! It really a terrible thing. It was Bob's birthday last year when we were at the park and it was very windy and it got real smokey, remember Gary? There were fires all over! Scary!
It's true. Even though, in '63, I coined the phrase "12 going on 65" (meaning young at heart, but wise beyond their years), "Youth is wasted on the young". But happy returns, and many many more.
For your information, when I was a lad and you picked up the phone, an operator would say"number please", we had a 3 party line. Just got our 1st cell phone last year....time are a changin'....... Thanks for the good wishes....

In those Paradox days I considered Bob much older and wiser than me...The leader of the pack.
He's still the leader. Now I consider him wiser but in my age group.
