Latest Dave update
I emailed Dave yesterday. Here's the latest:
Hi Dave.....Just checkin' in to see how things are going. I tried to call but no answer. Hope all is well. Hugs....Us
Dave, Tara and Scaff came for Corned beef yesterday. Dave is cheerful and has a good attitude. He has a wonderful, caring nurse, Tara. Dave, you have your Paradox family all pulling for you.
Talked with Dave today and he sounded terrific... with humor intact.Really good to see him bounce back so quickly. He is taking calls if anyone wants to give him a shout out.
David, Tara, Scaff, Bob and I all had dinner and played cards last evening. Dave is still Dave, the Dave brain is still amazing. The just bought a new (new for them) car, very nice. An Audi.
We are having the most beautiful weather, I planted some veggies, now we are expecting a storm. Big bike race in Tahoe this Sunday, around Tahoe twice, thru Nevada City, then Sac. They will be cycling in the snow....bummer.....not supposed to happen in May.
Just checked the weather map -- looks like you really are getting snow. Blowing like crazy up my way, which is bringing colder weather tomorrow and probably the rain and snow from your part of the world. Springtime in the mountains.
Woke up to snow, crazy in the middle of May. I covered my tomatoe plants, hope they survive. Had Dave, Tara and Scaff over for dinner an cards last night, David is better every time we see him. Go Dave Go! Gary called and we passed him around.

Rik, I haven't heard anything, but no news is sometimes a good thing. From other friends' experiences, I know these things can take a long time.
David is doing great! We saw them Sat. Big improvement! David beat us at cards. Same ol' Dave......The man is a walking encyclopedia.
