Gibson Robert Johnson on eBay WINNING BID $5,211.00
Actually, it's not much of a guitar. Johnson didn't play one because it was a great guitar. He played it because it was dirt cheap. And Gibson, bless their hearts, reissued it a few years back and expected people to pay a couple grand for them. That didn't last long, and dealers were blowing them out at below cost just to get rid of them.
Pretty cool guitar for sale on eBay this week.
