Welcome Paradoxers!
This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities.
You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now.
More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.
In reference to blew glass......PBS in Nov. will air Arts from the Blue Ridge Mountains-Give Me The Banjo....narrated by Steve Martin 2 hours with special guests!
Thanks Carol. Have never listened to blew glass but will give it a try.
I have really enjoyed watching these PBS and other music specials -- never have paid them much attention before.
The Rounders Records 40th anniversary show was terrific music, and over the last couple nights have watched the Scorsese George Harrison film. As a Beatle maniac, still, it was also really fun to watch although I can't help but bemoan the terrible waste of all that wealth that he could have put to better use for the world. And even when he was dying he moved to Switzerland so he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it.
Still, the movie says the the Bangladesh concert was the first fundraiser concert, so I have to give him credit for that.
I thought "Blew Glass" was what they did at Knots Berry Farm back when it was a ghost town. We went on a field trip when I was in the 3rd grade..........
RANDMAND BAND, congat's. Come for a visit and we'll celebrate. Play guitars, fill fruit jar's me oh my O. In June we had our 56th anniversary. I was only 16, Bob was 18, just grad. High School. Had 3 kids by age 21. Kids raising kids.
