Welcome Paradoxers! This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities. You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now. More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.

Scaff's Skiffle Band
Another flash from the past.
Thanks to the genius of Dave Hall and Steve Scaff, Scaff's Skiffle Band recorded most of an album in 1967. Who knew? Even I didn't, and I was there!
What a voice Cass Conway had, not to mention some wild jug and washtub bass playing (was that Dan Winchester?). We even had the Steve Scaff version of fractured fairy tales. Lots of fun and Scaffian shenanigans but those 19 year olds also sounded great. What a time!
Jug band music certainly was a treat to me ...

Sherry, we owe it all to you. If Dave and Diane hadn't put it on the computer, all would have been lost....reel to reel is way past it's prime and David is one of the only living persons to still have a player and the knowledge to get it on the computer. Tapes wear out. Thanks Diane, Sherry, Dave, Bob. I made coffee.
Our next get together, the Scaff Skiffle Band needs to do a set.
What a beautiful pair of gal's. How you compliment each other, one a knock out blond and the other a raven haired beauty. Where are you Cass?????
We had two "V"'s of Geese passing over us. You can hear them long before we could see them, very much fun to see and hear. I tried to get a pic, but it didn't turn out......
Heading south for the winter. They are here too.
I'm still looking for Cass.
I found a Cass Conway, wife of an American diplomat, and figured I'd finally found her, but then discovered it was a character in a novel. I'll keep trying!
And Dan Winchester.
Milt has not changed on bit, all that clean livin'. Really great to see him.
Milt still looks exactly the same, I didn't remember how tall he was, maybe I don't remember how short I am.
Some of us are now shrinking. My only consolation is that Norma's shrinking, too.
Parts of me are shrinking too.
OMGosh! What a find! Thanks for making it happen Dave and Diane! Hugs Galore to all!
Cathy
OMGosh...What a treasure! Devotion galore Dave and Diane. Hugs to all,

PS....I was told there are videos of the reunion posted on YouTube....what do I type into search to find them?
Lunsford
Kathy, I took it with me to FL when I visited my sister in late June. I just hope she didn't eat it.
Gary, it is your brain your referring to?
Enough already.............
I can't remember!
