Welcome Paradoxers!
This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities.
You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now.
More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.

Gary, Ralph, Steve....
How was the show last night? I can hardly wait to hear.
Another great John Mcuen show with a little help from his friends; Matt Cartsonis and Scott Gates. You can check them out on the web. http://www.mattcartsonis.com/ http://www.scottgates.com/home.html Steve didn't make it but Randy and Jan drove up for fast food burgers and the show. Great time was had by all. Check out Scott on You tube he's a really gifted 16 year old mandolin player. You'll be impressed!
This all goes to show, after 40 odd year of sucess in the coffee house business, you can work your way down to a 49 seat room where you get to do "ALL OF THE WORK YOUSELF" and...As an entertainer, after a brilliant 40 odd year career you can aspire to fill said 49 seat room on a Tuesday night.
Yes, Gary, watching Johnny play at the Coffee Gallery from last year reminded me of the old days -- with even the 16 year old master players! Glad you and Ralph and Jan could make it up there to see him.
I also caught a couple songs he and Scott played at the Claremont music festival, which is how I found the one of Jackson (not very good video but couldn't resist the Nevada City folks recognized in the audience!). Claremont is in May next year. I guess that's where the rest of our group hangs out.

I just looked up Scott on youtube, Gary, and found this from the Coffee Gallery:

Then it occurred to me that maybe I could also find Johnny there and .... voila....from last year

I get all misty eyed. I love seeing him sharing the stage with the next generation -- sort of where we all were way back when.
