Just to let you know that Kunkel and Harris are playing 2 shows in May...

We'll be back in Carmel Valley at Plaza Linda, this Saturday (May 1st). We love the scene at Plaza Linda and are very pleased to be asked back. Good food, good people
We'll also be at Speisekammer in Alameda on May 20th.

They should all be like last night

We had a great one last night. Three solid, roots-oriented bands in a mutual appreciation society. The new Freight has great acoustics, a state-of-the-art Meyer sound system, perfect sightlines, and an ethic that it's all about the music. We did one of our best sets ever and were on with two acts I'd pay money to see in other circumstances. Gayle sparkled like a jewel and the rest of us locked on. Honkytonk Dreamers played a solid set of western swing with great fiddling and a singer who can channel Patsy Cline. Misisipi Rider's harmonies were exquisite, and all four singers were on fire. Nights like this keep me hooked.

I am having a blast - 4 gigs done - 6 to go -
Generally good PAs and Great Audiences - right now I am in the middle of
Netherlands - having some Smoke - Mint and/or Lime flavored "Mary" Mints -
or a Loaded Lolly pop - it's ALL good in Amsterdam - new songs coming -
also the guitar I am playing has an Original, Vintaqge, mid 60's "Have You
Been To The Paradox" sticker on it.

I'll be back at the end of the month, then off to Nevada City, Portland,
Seattle and Gig Harbor.
