Nice work. Very nice.

Hey, I have a totally unrelated question. Saturday evening's meal featured two fabulous chilis. The Norma and I would love to know who made them so that we can abase ourselves and beg for the recipes.

Rik, I'm guessing since it wasn't on the "official" menu, but I bet one was leftover from Friday night when Pam made her extra special beef dish.

Helen also pulled some amazing looking beef dish out of the freezer for Sunday -- she may have had some of that out on Saturday, as well.

And Gary and Susan made their layered taco salad Saturday as well. It was an embarrassment of riches when it came to food that weekend.

I'm sure all three would give you recipes.

Rik, on Sat. night we had Hamburgers, Gary and Susan made a chile bean salad, could that be what your thinking of? You weren't here on Friday night dinner, so it couldn't be the green chile quich I made then, or on Sunday night we had Proud potatoes, that had Pam's italian recipe of roast beef in a sauce?????

I have some forgotten items, 2 really nice black folding chairs. A black pillow with red "SF", a large long sleeve black "t" shirt, sunglases with redish frames, a tea strainer. Oh, and a very large burlap bag filled with $100 bills.
It's very sad here, the stage has turned into a work truck, my Solar dehydration system is back in place. Looking like normal.

Helen, don't worry! People left all that good stuff so they'd have a reason to come back. They'll be asking about it soon enough......

I think that was my VERY LARGE burlap bag!I was wondering where I had left it.

OK, Gary emailed us Susan's recipe, and Norma has put it at the top of here recipe stack.

The other one was definitely green chili with a good heat to it, and chunks of beef. I went back for seconds of both.

For a minute, we thought that bag of hundreds might be ours, but ours was in the trunk of the car.

By the way. I turned 64 today, and Norma says she still loves me. She did take a while for her to answer me when I asked though.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIK!

Yes, we still love you, even though you're 64.

Mandy, we don't have speed dial up on our ancient computer, we down loaded for about 3 hours, finally it got down loaded, Tom, our cat walked across the key board a wiped it out. Dave and Tara are going to show it to us tonight.

Diane Smith said...

I know what you are remembering, Rik.

There was a friend of Tara's there who brought a Thai or some sort of spicy beef dish for dinner Saturday night.

I bet Susan will know what it was because I asked her about it.

If not, Sherry Miller will.

After listening to Gary's youtube, here's another for you:

Hi Helen - We plan to put it on DVD. We'll certainly send you one when we have it. I'm having problems with the DVD burning program on my computer and it may take a while. I'm glad you'll get to see it tonight. Mandie

Randman, we did see it! Very impressive, right in our own back yard! WOW!

Ric, name of the dish "Ginger beef" brought by Larry, a friend of Tara's who works at the PO. You will be sent the recipe soon, word it's out.

Can someone do me a favor and post a photo of someone wearing the reunion t-shirt and/or of the reunion bag and cup?

We broke even on these, but they are meant as fundraisers to help pay for Bob and Helen's expenses. Porta-potties are not cheap!

All help in promoting these wonderful reminders of the weekend much appreciated.
