Welcome Paradoxers!
This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities.
You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now.
More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.
Nice post Diane! Wish we could hear a lot more from Maury.I always loved his style. He should have become a major star with all that talent. I hold the record executives directly responsible for sandbagging the Sunshine Co. Do we know who the other guitar and harmony vocals belong to?
Speaking of which, I've been chained to my computer all weekend, trying to churn out a chapter of my dissertation before the end of the semester, and listening to random songs.
Yesterday there was a series of Greg Brown, Mary McCaslin, Mark Knopfler, and then this beautiful piece that made me stop and wonder who it was.... It was Ralph! I'd forgotten I put his cd on my computer.
Congrats to both of you for that CD. It is very good.
I like this video, I love the song! It is my favorite Steve song, followed by Buy for me the Rain. Ralph and I went up to the Coffee House in Altadena/Pasadena a time ago to see Maury open for John McQuen I believe. It was a nice show. Severin was there as well. I hadn't seen Severin since Ralph, Holly, Severin and I, went bowling at the Hollywood Lanes on Santa Monica Blvd, sometime in the early 70's.

It says Scott Wilson on the other guitar.
Bruce is in touch with Maury who lives in Santa Rosa. I keep trying to get him to one of our get togethers.
I wish Steve would play more of those old tunes.
I love that song -- beautiful.
I'd love to get Ralph and Maury together in front of a mic. I bet some real magic would happen.
