Welcome Paradoxers! This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities. You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now. More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.

This just in from Jimmie
tony already wrote the story. my experience mirrors his. he ( jackson) is such good and gracious guy. playing with him on his songs, is always special for me. i never know where it will go and i love that. pick a song, open it up, and let the music fall out along with the lyrics to our lives, and i still don't know ''what the hell these brakes are for" " and i don't -----" life became the paradox, the bear, the rouge et noir". he had me come up twice and we played four songs together, very generous. the last two with his guitar tech manny alverez (who took these photos) a really fine picker. and wow......

Frickin Excelent!
Too cool! So glad you and Jackson connected in Sarasota. I was hoping it would all work out. Sure wish I could have been with you for this one. Thanks for keeping us updated.
I know ... that's the first thing I thought. Wish I could have been there! Not to mention the fact that it must be fantastic in Florida right now.
For those of you in California who are up for a drive, the Dirt Band is playing in Wendover, Nevada at the Peppermill Concert Hall on the 11th of December.
I'd be very tempted to join you but I'm in DC again that week, and just flying home on the 11th, alas.
The "sarasota van weasel performing arts center"?
That sounds like something off the Daily Show, Sarasota Van Weasel being a wealthy socialite and philanthropist and pillar of the community.
Oh my goodness I'm laughing so hard I'm starting to cry....
Damn that spell check! And apologies to all.

That's like last night when I started thinking about the days when there were several people from the Paradox sleeping in the front room of my mother's house in quiet little Tustin -- the house where the monkey lived, down the street where my friend kept a pet vulture -- and up drives a van and out walks a tiger.
When I think about those times I start laughing so hard I can't stop. Who would ever believe it?
What happened to Tiger Jim? One time he was leaving his house in early AM with his tiger, as he was going out as the milk man was coming up the walk, the milkman dropped all the bottles of milk.
I tried searching for Jim or Angela on the net but can't find anything at all. Maybe Angela got hungry? The Paradox certainly had it's share of outside the box characters didn't it?
Angela. Now I'm laughing all over again.
Those were the days, that's for sure.
At the Golden Bear reunion I wore one of Connie's red "Remember the Paradox" stickers on my jacket.
In the elevator a man looked at the sticker with a quizzical look on his face and then smiled: "Which one?"
End of Diane's goofy remembrances.
