Welcome Paradoxers!
This blogspot will be our new home to share updates on everyone's new cd's, links to music venues, and other activities.
You can also post remembrances, photos, and any other memorabilia you would like to share. It would be great if this could become like an archive for the Paradox -- then and now.
More information to follow as I figure this out. In the meantime, please add your comments and keep the site alive and growing.
I feel foolish to say the first time I heard this was Dylans version. I loved Dylan singing this great song and listened over and over. Now, you show the source. Dylan used this guys exact melody. This is great. Even better.
What inspired me to search out and post this, Was scrounging in a thrift store aweek ago and I discovered a Bob Dylan CD that I had some how missed. Good As I Been To You (1992) I think it may now be my favorite Dylan album and some of his best work. His guitar technique is amazing. It's like early Dylan except he has now learned how to use his voice and honed his guitar skills to a fine edge. His interpretation of Arthur McBride (Traditional) is out standing.

I totally agree. One of my favorites Tommorow Night is a winner too. Ah jeez, all of them. The guitar stuff is out of this world.
The critics totally panned "Good as I Been to You" and "Knocked Out, Loaded" (Brownsville Girls and My God They Killed Him). Critics just crushed those records. Of course they be my favorites..
I enjoyed it so much,I just ordered two of Paul Brady's CD's. "Nobody Knows: The Best of Paul Brady" & "The Missing Liberty Tapes". Can't wait to hear them.

What a wonderful song. I had never heard of him before.
I'll look for that Dylan CD.
I have really enjoyed some of his newer music.
