We're Leavin' The band that wasn't

Thought I'd post the un-album cover for We're Leavin

Yep.
I missed their first show where nobody
saw them leave.
I don't have the album either.
This is one band who wasn't destroyed
by drug or alcohol.

Well...If memory serves me correctly you didn't miss much.
Not only weren't they seen leaving the building they actually weren't there well before, you didn't get there either!

My sentiments exactly

I clearly do not remember not seeing Bob and Helen or Rik.
As I recall, Rik was not invited to play and did
not show up. Typical of Rik, to not attend unless
he's invited.
Mostly anyway.

This may be a tricky thread to follow. You might try starting at the beginning and work your way backward until you disappear.
Sometimes that works.

I do not need an invitation to come and play, as many people have discovered to their chagrin. Ask the shrinks who have an office in the apartment catty corner from mine at the corner of Sacramento and Baker.

They're illegal. The place is zoned residential, and one afternoon I saw a rock come through my open window and land on my mixer. It wasn't a big rock, but there are principles involved. I looked out the window and there was a woman in the street yelling at me to shut up.

I did my usual thing and went across the street and presented my card to their receptionist and apologized. And said that if my music was really bothering them, just call me, and I'll turn down.

The woman who had been yelling burst out of one of the cubicles and started in again. I went over to the receptionist, took my card back, turned to the woman and told her to shut the fuck up or I'd call the zoning board and have her evicted. I then went back, turned the amp up to 11 and played slide for about 10 minutes. I haven't had a preblem with them since.

That's me at my worst, but it certainly was both satisfying and effective.
